Chocolate Covered Strawberries
Preparation Time: 3 minutes
Microwave Time: 3 to 7 minutes
Cooling Time: 1 hour
1 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
1 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 quart strawberries, washed
Wash all of the strawberries. Place wax paper over a cookie sheet to place the strawberries after they’ve been dipped. Next, combine chocolate chips, butter and vanilla extract in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 3 to 7 minutes, removing from microwave and stirring once every minute. Continue until chocolate is smooth and fully melted. Dip the strawberries one at a time into the chocolate sauce, and place on to the wax paper-covered cookie sheet. When all the strawberries have been dipped, place the pan in the refridgerator for 1 hour to let the chocolate harden.
